OasisXTop1.0 Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Welcome to OasisXTop1.0. We take your privacy seriously. OasisXTop1.0 is a local RF and microwave engineering calculator for scattering parameters (S-parameters), impedance matching, transmission lines, frequency sweeps, Smith charts, and related analysis tools.
All user data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information over the internet. OasisXTop1.0 provides engineering calculation tools only.
2. Information We Collect
OasisXTop1.0 works on your device and does not require you to create an account. We do not collect personal information from you over the internet. The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Calculation inputs you enter, such as frequency, characteristic impedance (Z0), S-parameter values, source and load impedances, transmission-line parameters, and tool-specific settings;
- Calculation results produced on your device, including VSWR, return loss, matching network components, sweep plots, and matrix conversions;
- Saved calculation history records and timestamps when you choose to save runs;
- App preferences stored in local settings, such as default Z0, default frequency, polar input mode, and frequency unit display (GHz or MHz);
- Touchstone or other files you choose to open or import, processed locally on your device.
3. How We Use Information
We use information stored on your device solely to provide and improve OasisXTop1.0 features, including:
- Performing RF and microwave engineering calculations offline;
- Displaying charts, Smith charts, schematics, and sweep results;
- Maintaining your local history list and record details;
- Applying your saved RF defaults and display preferences;
- Exporting your history as CSV when you explicitly choose to export.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for purposes unrelated to the app without your consent.
4. Storage and Protection
Your data is stored locally on your device using iOS storage mechanisms, including the app sandbox, NSUserDefaults for preferences, and local JSON files in the app's Application Support directory. Calculation history and preferences remain on your device until you delete individual records, clear all records from Settings → Data, export and remove copies yourself, or uninstall OasisXTop1.0.
We take reasonable measures to help protect information on your device. However, no electronic storage method is completely secure. Please protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not transmit your calculation inputs, results, or history to our servers. We may share information only when:
- You have given explicit consent, such as when you export CSV files and choose where to save or send them, or use system share features;
- Disclosure is required by applicable law or a competent authority;
- Disclosure is necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of you, us, or other users.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- Export your calculation history as CSV from Settings → Data;
- Delete individual history records in the History tab;
- Clear all local records from Settings → Data → Clear All Records;
- Adjust RF defaults and display preferences within the app;
- Uninstall the app to remove locally stored data from your device.

7. Protection of Minors
OasisXTop1.0 is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a minor, please read this policy with your guardian and use the app only with their consent. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of OasisXTop1.0 after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
